  • Higher forage production.
  • Excellent palatability.
  • Higher stocking rate per hectare.
  • Deep and well-branched root system.
  • Tolerant to pests and diseases.

Growth Type
It is a vigorous grass with semi-erect growth. Its leaves are broad, lance-shaped, and abundant. It has deep and branched roots that provide excellent drought tolerance.
The tillers can reach up to half a meter in diameter; therefore, excellent pasture coverage can be achieved with relatively few plants.

Management Recommendations
It is recommended that the first grazing (90 to 110 days after germination) be carried out with small animals (calves) to stimulate the development of new tillers and obtain stronger plants. Subsequently, rotational grazing should be implemented, with a maximum grazing period of 3 days and a rest period of 25 to 35 days, depending on the time of year.

  • Seeding rate: 8–10 kg/ha.
  • Days to first grazing: 90–110 days.
  • Rotation interval: 25–35 days.
  • Adaptation range: 0–1,400 m a.s.l.
  • Minimum exit height for animals: 15–20 cm.
